Let's talk about the superpower of being coachable.
None of us know it all, neither do we have it all figured out (whatever that really means).
Human beings are meant to grow, not remain stagnant.
For the rest of our lives, each and every one of us will have learning experiences - and for good reason.
The question is not whether you will encounter these experiences, but rather are you coachable (teachable) within those experiences.
Whether positive or negative, most situations provide valuable lessons in themselves. Just like students in a classroom, we are always in a position to learn something we can (or should not) apply to our lives.
Do you let other people speak into your life?
Or are you closed off - embarrassed of your weaknesses, and clinging to traits that bring you a temporary sense of pride?
Chances are, you may be too insecure to let others see your shortcomings.
You're not alone.
In some way or another, we all close ourselves off in fear of rejection.
However, in order to be the leaders and creative problem solvers that we are created to be, we must be willing to let our guard down.
Insecurity stunts growth, and we must be coachable.
